The goal of your Facebook page is to get fans and loyal followers to ‘like’ your page, right? Then, they’ll see everything you post and be even more connected to you and your brand, right? That’s not actually the case, despite what many think. You’ve probably noticed recently that when you post something, you now see a % and number reached in the footer of each post. It’s probably never as many as you expect either. Check out this article/mini study from Inkling Media to understand more about how many and which fans are really seeing your posts.
This makes it even more important to post information that is interesting and relevant to your fan base. You can also remind your followers through e-newsletter and other regular communication to make sure they choose “show in newsfeed” under the ‘Liked’ button on your page.
